What to Expect

Welcome, we invite you visit us! We want you to feel comfortable at Sisters Naz, so we’ve outlined what you can expect when you visit.

Finding the Church

The church is located about 5 miles east of Sisters. Take Highway 20 towards Bend. Turn right on Gist Road (1-mile past the Sisters Rodeo Grounds) then turn left on Harrington Loop Rd. The church will be on your left.

Our People

One word that is regularly used to describe Sisters Church of the Nazarene is friendly. Our people are committed to hospitality and generosity. When you visit, you will be sure to find people with smiling faces and open arms.

Children’s Church & Nursery

Our goal is to teach children about the love of Jesus in an age appropriate teaching style. Our team of teachers and nursery workers love working with kids and helping them grow. Each service, we offer infant and toddler nursery care for children under age 3. We invite children from Preschool – 4th Grade to sit with their parents in the service until they are let to Children’s Church for a short Bible lesson and fun activities.

At Sisters Naz, your child’s safety and security is very important to us, and all of our teachers and volunteers have undergone background checks and trainings to keep our little ones safe. If you have any questions about the Children’s Church program, please don’t hesitate to ask!

What our Services Are Like

We offer one morning service at 10:00am. Before the service, we offer complimentary coffee for everyone. We’d love for you to come early and enjoy a cup of coffee with us. The service is relaxed, engaging and generally last about an hour. It typically starts with announcements, then a time of singing before we sit down for a sermon. Song lyrics and Bible passages are projected on screens in the front of the sanctuary.

It is our goal that everyone feels comfortable in church. If you’ve never been to church or don’t know much about the Bible, it’s not a problem. All of us are learning together about God and His love for us. No matter your background, we encourage you to attend a service and learn with us.

What to Wear

Most people dress casually for service, so don’t worry about pulling out your “Sunday Best”.
