Nazarene Missions Information

Mission President: Janet Culver

We have our new mission books that are located on our information table in the foyer. If you read a book you get to hear about the great things that God is doing around the world through our missionaries, plus you get a free candy bar. Sweet deal. Pick up a book and see Janet Culver after you have read it for a double sweet treat.

Nazarene Compassionate Ministries: It seems like earthquakes and other natural disasters keep heading our news. We have one the of the best response teams in the world.  We try to get the most out of your dollar to get the greatest results to maxumize the efforts to help the people most affected. We work with churches on the ground to distribute the  food, clothing, shelter and materials to the people. The church is then able to continue to help meet their physical as well as spiritual needs as they walk through these tough times. If you would like to give to any of these emergency's our church will get it to the field areas right away.  go to www.nazarene.org to hear the stories of lives being helped.

Helping Hands Ministry: Scripture tells us not to neglect the widows and orphan's.  This ministry is focused on helping those who need a helping hand with something around their home.  We are building a team of people who are willing to go out and help with a project and encourage this person.  If you would like to be a part of the helping hands team contact the church by e-mailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Helping Our Community: Before the school year starts we collect school supplies to help out children who need supplies for school.  These items are given to our local Neighborhood Impact organization to help the children in our community.

Giving Tree: We want to be a blessing to local families who are going through difficult times.  We have a tree in the lobby that has tags of gifts that need to be purchased to make Christmas really special this year for these families.

We are collecting items for FAN (Family Access Network) that will go to local families. They are needing kids socks, non-perisable snacks, hand soap, shampoo, laundry soap, tooth paste, deodorant, razors and dish soap.  We are collecting these items in the church foyer and will be taking them to the FAN office at the end of the month.

Hurricane & Earth Quake Relief: The Nazarene Compassionate Ministries are on the ground and helping people that have been hurt by these storms.  The local churches are opening their doors and teams are going out into the community to help with the needs.  You can give money to help people put their lives back together.  There are also teams that are being formed to go there and serve.  You can shoot an e-mail or call the church for more information.
